Torrent: Antiques Road Trip Season 13 (Reversions) E01-E10
Description:

Antiques Road Trip Season 13 (Reversions) E01-E10

E01.
Anita Manning and Raj Bisram, each with £200, set off on an antique hunting adventure through the south east in a 1973 Triumph Spitfire.

Raj detours to hear about an agricultural pioneer in north Norfolk while Anita learns about much forgotten Norwich lad Vernon Castle, a global dancing phenomenon for whom we have to thank for Strictly Come Dancing.

This jolly B-road romp sees them sell their antique finds at Beeston, Norfolk and Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex.

E02.
Antiques aficionados Anita Manning and Raj Bisram are heading for their next two auctions. They are level pegging so it is all to play for.

Anita breaks from shopping to visit a former silk mill with an incredible royal connection, while Raj detours to hear the story behind how young boys were sent to sea.

However, when the bids come in for Anita's Eastern deity, it leaves the entire saleroom open-mouthed in shock.

E03.
Anita Manning pops to Canterbury to uncover the story behind the bloody murder of Thomas Becket at the cathedral.

This episode also sees another pair of eager antique hunters hit the road. Charles Hanson and James Braxton set off on a trip through the Scottish Highlands.

James is drawn to a jolly filthy yet well made Kilim rug. Meanwhile, Charles goes on an Antiques 'Boat' Trip to learn about the Caledonian Canal and the engineering marvel who built it.

E04.
Charles Hanson and James Braxton continue their Scottish road trip. Starting in Inverkeithing, they head for auctions in Dundee and Hamilton.

James stops by Ardeer to hear why the local beach is connected to the Nobel Peace Prize, while Charles detours from the shops to hear how one man's passion for birds inspired him to be the first human to fly.

But what antiques will result in big profits at auction - James's Chinese table or Charles's 2,000-year-old Roman nails?

E05. An unreliable classic car threatens to derail Charles Hanson and James Braxton's road trip. However, a Highland cow, a King Charles spaniel and a donkey help them along their way.

Charles wears a kilt to get in the spirit for this Scottish jaunt while James takes a break from shopping to hear about one of the most intriguing incidents of World War Two.

After picking up some antiques in Scotland, our pair head for an auction in Cumbria.

E06.
Philip Serrell and Catherine Southon are behind the wheel of a classic Citroen. From the Midlands, they are journeying for their first auction in Salisbury.

When they are not shopping, Phil discovers the roots of lawn tennis and Catherine unravels the story of a top secret unit of female spies who worked in occupied France in World War Two.

Their butter churns and biscuit tins go under the gavel at their second auction in Christchurch, Dorset.

E07.
Our antiques odyssey with Catherine Southon and Philip Serrell has them pootling the old Citroen through the West Country and heading for the Cornish coastline.

True to form, Phil catches a local fisherman to barter for some marine antiquities before heading deep underground to see some local history.

Catherine aims for Porthcurno to see first-hand the incredible cables that stretch from this little village, along the seabed, to South America, Australia and India.

E08.
Experts Catherine Southon and Philip Serrell are road tripping through south Wales before their final auction in Wells, Somerset. Who will win this trip?

This fun-packed episode also sees Paul Laidlaw and Claire Rawle start their road trip around the north east of England.

Everything is rosy until Claire moves in to Paul's specialist area. Worse still for our veteran road tripper, when Claire's World War One collectable goes under the gavel, it makes a small fortune!

E09.
Paul Laidlaw and Claire Rawle set off from Sunderland headed for auctions in Tyne and Wear and Yorkshire.

Paul finds some rare RAF stereoscopic aerial reconnaissance photographs while Claire detours from the route to discover the history of big game fishing in 1930s Scarborough. At the auction, it is a battle between a snuff box and some nose-pinching specs - who has sniffed out the best buys?

E10.
Paul Laidlaw and Claire Rawle set off from Hull and motor around the north east of England looking for collectables and curios.

Paul finds a rare 18th-century puzzle jug and Claire gambles on some Shelley porcelain to do well at auction. Claire is also indulging her passion for all things railway by hearing about an early pioneer of steam locomotives and Paul has the chance to unravel the story behind the world-famous crooked church tower at Chesterfield - fingers crossed he has a head for heights!
