Description :
You are Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist at the Black Mesa Research Facility. When a routine experiment goes horribly wrong, you must fight your way through an interdimensional alien invasion, and a bloodthirsty military clean-up crew in order to save the science team... and the world!

Black Mesa (Black Table Mountain - a research complex in the New Mexico desert) is a re-release of the Half-Life game, the development of the game was started by an independent development team in 2004, with the goal of re-creating the original game using the capabilities of the improved Source engine. All textures, models and levels have been reworked, the sprint function of the protective suit and binoculars have been added (or rather left in the Source code), the achievement system has been introduced. The developers completely recreated the storyline, only slightly changing it, without violating the overall message and balance of the game.
