WinNc is a file manager which allows you to copy, move,
edit, and compress files. WinNc (Windows Next Commander)
lets you perform numerous file maintenance operations, from
file copying and deleting to editing and viewing documents
and images. The program's added features, such as a
disconnected, double-pane display, and drag-and-drop
capability, render it a good replacement for Windows
Explorer. WinNc enables you to create shortcuts, compare
folders, read network drives, search for files, customize
