Sapiente costruzione drammatica nell'alternarsi di tempi forti e deboli, ottima squadra di attori, notevoli contributi di F. Francis (fotografia), E. Bernstein (che ha arrangiato la partitura originale di B. Herrmann), Saul e Elaine Bass (titoli di testa). Sam Bowden is a small-town corporate attorney/"Leave It to Beaver"-esque family-man. Max Cady is a tattooed, cigar-smoking, bible-quoting, psychotic rapist. What do they have in common?
