The latest animation film from Pixar, Cars 2 is a sequel to the 2006 film, Cars. In the first movie, the race car Lightning McQueen gets lost and ends up being arrested in the run-down town of Radiator Springs.
While serving his period here, he makes friends with several cars especially the tow-truck Mater and to-be girlfriend Sally Carrera. Eventually when he leaves for California to compete in the Piston Cup, Lightning McQueen is a changed car and he comes back to Radiator Spring, making it his headquarters.
The storyline of Cars 2 is centered around International Racing event as Lightning McQueen and Mater head to Japan and Europe to compete in the World Grand Prix. The events take a turn for the worse and the cars have to fight for survival as they get involved in international espionage. Though not as great as the original movie, Cars 2 is still fun to watch and an entertaining sequel.
