L'argentino è il primo episodio della pellicola realizzata dal regista americano Steven Soderbergh sulla storia di Ernesto Guevara. Il film racconta la storia di Guevara ai tempi della rivoluzione cubana dei barbudos guidati da Fidel Castro.
26 novembre del 1956 Fidel Castro salpa per Cuba con 80 ribelli. Uno di quei ribelli è Ernesto “Che” Guevara, un medico argentino che condivide il sogno di Fidel - rovesciare la dittatura corrotta di Fulgencio Batista. Il Che si rivela indispensabile come combattente e impara presto l’arte della guerra di guerriglia, diventando il beniamino dei suoi compagni e del popolo cubano.

Guerrilla, è il secondo episodio della pellicola realizzata dal regista americano Steven Soderbergh sulla storia di Ernesto Guevara.
Dopo la rivoluzione cubana, il Che è all'apice della sua fama e del suo potere. Poi improvvisamente sparisce, e ricompare in incognito in Bolivia, dove organizza un piccolo gruppo di compagni cubani e reclute boliviane destinati a dare inizio alla grande rivoluzione latino-americana.
Quella della campagna boliviana del Che è una storia di tenacia, sacrificio e idealismo - è il racconto della sconfitta di una guerra di guerriglia che alla fine lo condurrà alla morte.
