DEF LEPPARD - SONGS FROM THE SPARKLE LOUNGE, album released April 25/29th 2008 in Europe and North America. Encoded 320Kbps [Lame] mp3. Covers included.
Def Leppard are an English hard rock/heavy metal band from Sheffield, who formed in 1977 as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. Largely on the strength of their albums Pyromania and Hysteria.
Def Leppard became one of the top-selling rock bands throughout the 1980s, selling over 65 million albums worldwide, including over 35 million in the United States alone. Def Leppard are ranked No.31 on VH1's "Greatest Artists of Hard Rock".
'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' is the tenth studio album and 14th album overall from the English hard rock band Def Leppard. Released on April 25/29th 2008 in Europe and North America, it is the band's first album of brand new material since their 2002 album 'X'.
Named from the backstage area where they wrote most of the material, this is allegedly a return to their hard-rocking roots after the toned-down adult pop sound of 'X', containing no ballads. Produced by the band's long-standing engineer Ronan McHugh, it includes the singles 'Nine Lives' [which features a guest appearance from country star Tim McGraw] and 'C'mon C'mon". The album has peaked at No.5 on the Billboard 200.
