I MERCEN4RI - Expendables, film diretto da Scott Waugh, è il quarto capitolo della saga d'azione con protagonisti icone degli action movies degli anni '80 e '90.
I mercenari sono l'ultima linea di difesa del mondo, infatti la squadra viene contattata solitamente come l'ultima possibilità, quando nessun altro può risolvere la situazione. Questa volta i mercenari d’élite, Barney (Sylvester Stallone), Christmas (Jason Statham), Gunner (Dolph Lundgren) e Toll Road (Randy Couture) vengono affiancati da due new entry: Gina (Megan Fox) e Marsh (Andy Garcia).
Dovranno affrontare e fermare un ex trafficante d’armi britannico, Suharato Rahmat (Iko Uwais), che per conto del suo malvagio cliente, Ocelot, deve rubare dei missili nucleari che si trovano nel vecchio impianto di armi chimiche di Gheddafi, in Libia. Se lanciati, i detonatori potrebbero portare il pianeta verso una nuova guerra mondiale e mettere in pericolo l’intera umanità.
Rahmat riesce a scappare con le armi ma i Mecenari si lanciano all’inseguimento del criminale a bordo della nave Jantara. Sulla loro strada non mancheranno le minacce impreviste e i colpi di scena, ma loro sono pronti a combattare. Riusciranno nell'impresa?
