My Blu-Ray rips are always taken DIRECTLY from the actual blu-rays, not re-encodings of an earlier h264 torrent, and not "filled in" with web downloads. HEVC is a superb machine, but it should be given quality raw materials.
This is my h265 (HEVC) 10 bit LE 2 pass high quality 1080p rip of season three of Gomorra (known as Gomorrah to English speaking channels), taken directly from my blu-ray.
I used x265 2.63 to create a VBR in 2 passes, at an average of 1200 and peak of 2400kbps.
The English, Italiano, Français and Español subtitles are included (soft coded). The English subtitles were converted by me using SubtitleEdit to convert the IDX and SUB files to SRT; the others were downloaded from various subtitle sites.
