This is a medley of two songs by Miss Joss Stone, the first (Midnight train to Georgia) was originally by the black music group - Gladys Knight and the pips - great song certainly - one of the best of the black music family genre - it only took Jonell Mosser (an Irish gal with greatest talent with all round music) to become my most favourite artist to have done this song (We uploaded her clip as a bonus in our best of the 70s musicfromrizzo torrent posted here earlier) .
Then yesterday, I ran into this version by Joss stone in a medley with "I say a little prayer
for you" and I felt impressed with the human appeal of her performance as she lives with a spirit
which is apparently no doubt quite Christianly and in music such as is on this clip deserves full
support from us I say. Didn't find anything else she's sung that I like as yet, mostly songs I don't
recognize as popular or common or well enough known to ring a bell. I did listen to a song by
her that had the same name as a Lionel Richie great Hit - but alas it wasn't the same song.
Maybe we'll hear more from her in music tastes that are complimentary to the genre of appeal
she does here with this upload.
