Kim Carnes - Mistaken Identity, the classic 1981 album as transferred from a pristine, near-mint vinyl copy pressed by Toshiba-EMI.
As you will see on the jacket, the master tape for this album was recorded at 76 cm/sec. or 30 IPS - twice the speed of an average studio master tape. This provides advantages by reducing noise and distortion and increasing the audio detail.
The sound on this record is detailed and dynamic, and care has been taken to preserve that sound quality.
