Levon Helm and Rick Danko Starry Night, Portland, Oregon January 28, 1983 (1983) Unreleased Duo Show
“Thanks to PanicStream for originally posting this duo performance from the late Levon Helm & Rick Danko of The Band. This show (as well as various artwork) has bounced around for a while, but the performance is pure joy for fans, not to mention a rare opportunity to hear these beloved musicians in new surrounds...” (A few of the titles were ‘doctored’ by the original source) [Willard]
This is an acoustic set recorded in excellent, near studio quality for a live ‘bootleg’. It’s a pleasure to hear these two veteran members of the inimitable and infamous pillars of rock- ‘The Band’ performing 20 unplugged cuts in a small venue, up close and personal. The sound quality is as amazing as is the performance. Any fans of ‘The Band’ will be excited and pleased with this treasure.
