Live got fame from 1994 album, Throwing Copper, which sold eight million copies in the U.S. They had hit singles in the 90s including "Lightning Crashes", which stayed on top of the chart for 10 consecutive weeks and the Alternative Songs chart from February 25 to April 22, 1995. They sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
Over 127,000 people were estimated at the Hard Rock RockFest held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday.
The twelve-hour festival featured the Offspring, Third Eye Blind, Everlast, Eve 6, Sugar Ray, Silverchair, and Collective Soul. And of course Live.. here is a memory of the pit (Not Mosh)...It was HOT and WET ( they kept spraying the hose on us). I was on my feet for 12 hours near the stage. You couldn’t leave and get back. I was one of the mud people. They showed this on MTV. I could have been on TV because I was down front where the cameras were I left sunburned and tired. Atlanta in June
