Note : Sometimes I come across weird horror exploitation films that are so weird that I've never heard of them before, and this is one of them, a Spanish-French coproduction that's short on plot, but long on tits. Mostly a series of rape and torture scenes, interspersed with an "Egyptian" guy being drama club over the top, wrapped in a largely unnecessary flashback structure. There's not much to say about this, other that than, according to the commentary track, it's kind of unclear even who some of the actors are. And, also, don't keep bottomless pits in your basement, I guess.
Near a rural castle occupied by an occult researcher, young women keep disappearing. A man arrives to investigate, presenting himself as an Egyptologist, and from the castle's resident learns exactly what happened when he resurrected an Egyptian mummy through the use of electrical shocks and blood transfusions (what happens, apparently, is that you get a very horny BDSM mummy with mind control powers). There's also a crawling hand involved.
This remaster is, I don't know? Fine? You can see what's going on. The English dub has moments of French dialog, subtitled by the included subtitle track. The commentary track is a fascinating series of "What? Why? How?"
