Oxygène, film diretto da Alexandre Aja, racconta la storia di Liz (Mélanie Laurent), una giovane donna che si risveglia improvvisamente all'interno di una capsula criogenica. Non sa come sia finita lì e non ha molti ricordi antecedenti a quel momento, ma è in grave pericolo, perché l'ossigeno sta per finire e, prima che ciò accada, lei deve trovare il modo di uscire dalla capsula.
Le restano 90 minuti di ossigeno, quindi circa un'ora e mezza per provare a salvarsi, ma come? L'unica soluzione per sopravvivere è scavare nella sua memoria per ricordare chi è.
