Psycho 1960.
In a spur of the moment decision, Marion Crane decides to leave Phoenix
with the $40,000 her boss entrusted to her to deposit at the bank. She's
headed to her boyfriend Sam in Fairvale, California and the money will
finally let them start their life together. After having spent a night
in her car, she can't quite make all the way and spends her second night
at the Bates Motel. There she meets Norman Bates, a shy and withdrawn young
man who seems to be dominated by his mother. They chat for a while and as
a result she decides to go back to Phoenix and return the money. She's
still going to spend the night at the motel and decides to have a shower
before going to bed. A week later Marion's sister arrives at Sam's store
in Fairvale to tell him Marion has disappeared. Together with a private
detective, Milton Arbogast, they begin searching the area and eventually
come across the Bates Motel.

Psycho II 1983.
Now declared legally sane, Norman Bates is released from a mental
institution after spending 22 years in confinement over the protests of
Marion Crane's sister Lila Loomis, who insists that he's still a killer
and that the court's indifference to his victims by releasing him is a
gross miscarriage of justice. Norman returns to his motel and the old
Victorian mansion where his troubles started, and history predictably
begins to repeat itself.

Psycho III 1986.
Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) is still running Bates Motel all alone
and keeping the dressed skeleton of the killer from PSYCHO II. He meets
three new people who come to the Motel: a beautiful young woman who has
left the convent named Maureen (Diane Scarwid), a guitarist desperate
for money named Duke (Jeff Fahey) and a nosy reporter named Tracy
Venable (Roberta Maxwell), who is writing an article about serial
killers being put back on the streets. As Norman and Maureen begin
having a romantic relationship, someone dressed as Mother begins to
kill people around the Motel one-by-one. Is Norman taking orders from
Mother again, is Tracy trying too hard to prove that Norman is a viscous
serial killer, or is there something much more than the obvious?

This time around he is invited to share memories of mom with a radio
talk show host, but the PYSCHO fears that he may kill again for his
beloved is impregnated with his child and Norman cannot let another
PYSCHO loose in the civilized world.

Psycho Remake 1998.
In this remake of Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece, Anne Heche takes over
Janet Leigh's role of Marion Crane, a young secretary whose boyfriend, Sam
Loomis, has troubles paying off a debt and his wife's alimony. One day,
a rich client of her boss buys a house with $400,000 in cash. To fix her
problems, Marion steals the money and heads out to California to live her
dream life with Sam. But she gets lost in a bad storm and stops at the
Bates Motel, where the proprietor, Norman Bates, lives a very troubled
life with his dominating mother, whom he lives with in their house on the
hill next to the motel. A week later, Marion has vanished and no one can
find her or the stolen money, not even Sam, her sister, Lila, or a private
detective who has been hired to find Marion and the money. But a deadly
secret is waiting to be discovered inside the Bates house.
