Charles ha una grande passione per il gentil sesso. Di bell'aspetto e piuttosto viziato, ritardatario

Carrie, un'affascinante americana. Passano una notte d'amore e poi lei scompare per riapparire al
successivo matrimonio. Durante la terza cerimonia Carrie sposa un ricco molto più anziano di lei,
ma ben presto si separano. Quando Charles sta per dire il fatidico sì, Carrie arriva all'ultimo momento.
Il funerale invece si riferisce a un amico omosessuale e crea un momento di commozione nella vicenda
umoristica.
