Music has become the disposable item in many people's lives in 2017 as it has no value, many regard it as free and with no physical purchase and that sense of a physical item like a LP or 45 RPM record or CD to keep and treasure, many people just keep music on there phone or tablet. More so now that ever before it is vital people look back to how things were done generations ago. I am 68 but even as a pre teen I was looking back and found a vast treasure store of great music from the 1900s to the late 1950s back then. By putting this lot online, perhaps it will live on yet.
Notes about the Audio Collection. Rigmar has been collecting and buying music since 1957 and the rare hard to get or simply too old to be played anymore tracks are the ones which will be featured from this vast collection. No point in posting the easy to get stuff.
Each Torrent contains 100 or so songs at a time, look at this as an idea's springboard for new talent as many of these songs are now out of copyright.
Quality varies with age. Most are 320 kbps though. Singer Songwriter? Listen to the 1920 and 1930s stuff, it should give you a lot of inspiration to help you compose (or copy) your next hit song.
Remember a lot of the big band and orchestral stuff from the pre 2nd World War era of the 20's and 1930s are OUT of Copyright and you may use the whole thing for free. If it is a love song you are looking to compose, then your source material is right here, someplace. You just have to spend the time listening to these classic tracks.
