'American Woman' was the Guess Who's breakthrough album. First released
in 1970, it was that rare album that transcended the AM/FM divide,
appealing to both pop fans and rock hipsters alike. Featuring the hit
singles "American Woman," "No Time," and "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother
Nature," 'American Woman' was the Guess Who's first Top 10 album, first
Gold album, and their biggest seller. Lenny Kravitz returned "American
Woman" to the top of the charts in 1999 and it is becoming difficult to
go to a film or turn on the television without hearing the Guess Who. This
30th Anniversary Remaster features a previously unreleased bonus track and
liner notes by Guess Who leader Burton Cummings. (Text taken from the notes
