Tigers Are Not Afraid (2017) aka Vuelven, directed by Issa López, encoded in 10 bit HEVC with AAC sound, including original Spanish theatrical 5.1, English stereo dub, commentary track, and English, French, and Spanish subtitles.

Note : Issa López' 2017 magical realism/horror movie turned quite a few heads when it came out, especially when it was highly praised by both Guillermo del Toro and Stephen King, and it's easy to see why. In part, it resembles the work of both, taking del Toro's dark fairytale, children in peril tropes, modernizing them and turning them up to eleven, and the whole children's friendships and conflicts while facing an unspeakable evil thing is also reminiscent of King, but this is its own beast, more down to earth, grounded, and unflinching than either, taking a matter of fact look at a drug war that's killed hundreds of thousands, and mixing in a light sprinkling of supernatural elements. It's not perfect, some of the CGI is less than great, and while the cinematography isn't bad, I wish there was at least one more color palette for Mexico other than drab dusty brown, but it's pretty damn great anyway.
Estrella's school is closed after a shootout, and when she comes home, her mother is nowhere to be found. Days pass, and she gets involved with a gang of street orphans living on a nearby rooftop. However, things get complicated when it turns out the gang is in conflict with a real, grown up drug gang, and all Estrella has to work with are three pieces of magical chalk she got from her teacher during a writing exercise on fairytales. She also seems to be hearing her mother's whispering voice and seeing the menacing shapes of the dead hover around her more and more... It all builds to a tragic, devastating climax, where scores are settled, some measure of justice is had, but few walk away unscathed.
Like most new movies, this is a basically perfect BluRay, with a crisp, clean image and good 5.1 sound. Please avoid the English dub, as it's unusually bad (the English subtitles were also sub-par, but I fixed them up quite a bit). The director's commentary is pretty good, though.
