Nevada. Some strange and gigantic subterranean creatures , similar to the giant worms , run across the desert claiming victims among cattle . Meanwhile, the two handymen, Valentine " Val" McKee and Earl Bassett , consider seriously the possibility of leaving the isolated town of Perfection Valley where they live, in search of fortune to the largest Bixby .
Ready to go , Val and Earl stumble in the early victims of the creatures : Edgar , the old Fred , a couple of campers and two workers . They find being chased by one of those monsters, who is killed . Moreover, the two save the geologist Rhonda , who believes that the creatures are of prehistoric beings freed in the valley because of some earthquakes and that there are three others. Val and Earl are besieged Perfection , along with the owner of the emporium named Walter Chang, who calls out the Graboid worms , Nancy 's daughter Mindy , friends Nestor and Miguel , the boy joker Melvin and spouses Gummer , with a passion for the weapons , but they live in an isolated house .
They are all of the store when Chang discuss these Graboid , and discover ...... Good movie .

Nevada. Alcune strane e gigantesche creature sotterranee, simili ad enormi vermi, scorrono per il deserto mietendo vittime tra il bestiame. Nel frattempo i due tuttofare, Valentine "Val" McKee e Earl Bassett, valutano seriamente la possibilità di lasciare l'isolata cittadina di Perfection Valley in cui vivono, in cerca di fortuna verso la più grande Bixby.
Pronti per partire, Val e Earl si imbattono nelle prime vittime delle creature: Edgar, il vecchio Fred, un paio di campeggiatori e due operai. Scoprono di essere inseguiti da uno di quei mostri, che viene ucciso. Inoltre i due salvano la geologa Rhonda, che ritiene che le creature siano degli esseri preistorici liberatisi nella valle a causa di alcune scosse telluriche e che ce ne siano altri tre. Val e Earl restano assediati a Perfection, assieme al proprietario dell'emporio di nome Walter Chang, che chiama i vermi Graboid, Nancy, la figlia Mindy, gli amici Nestor e Miguel, il ragazzo burlone Melvin e i coniugi Gummer, con la passione per le armi, che però abitano in una casa isolata.
Sono tutti all'emporio di Chang quando discutono su questi Graboid, e scoprono che...... Buon film.
